About Bellingen Football Club
Bellingen Football Club was founded in the 1980s.
We have always been a community club run by volunteers pushing values of inclusiveness, fair play and equality in that we have never been a ‘win at all costs’ Club.
Over the years we have fielded teams from juniors through all youth ages to opens and masters teams.
We have enjoyed championship success on a regular basis with all age groups.
The Club is a social hub with kids playing all the way through from 5 years to Seniors. Often older kids coach younger teams, referee, and setup fields on match days. The Club promotes this engagement and belonging, with mentoring as kids get involved with Senior team training and games.
The Club is the largest sports club in Bellingen Shire, and in 2021 the 5th largest in the zone between Yamba and Scotts Head, with 22 teams and around 350 members.
