Summer 5-a-side competition

Bellingen FC is proud to be hosting a 2025/2026 summer 5-a-side competition at Bellingen Park.

The format will be social and open to all players from 8 years through to adults. New to this season there will be no ladder in all divisions, with an emphasis on fun, fitness, family and friends. We are also excited to offer a Mixed Adults division this season.

Age Groups & Format

Ages are based on the age you/your child is this year… so if your child turns 10 in 2025, they will need to register in the U10-12 division.

Shin pads and trainers or football boots will be required. No bare feet

Competition Dates

The season will be around 17 weeks in duration, with games being held on Tuesdays from 21 October 2025 to mid-December, then taking a break over Christmas before resuming from January through to late February.

Cost

  • Ages 8-18: $30 if previously registered or $50 if previously unregistered

  • Ages 18+: $65 if previously registered or $100 if previously unregistered

There are no team registration costs.

How to Register

Step 1: Team registration (for team captain)

  • Your team captain / leader will need to register your team by completing the following form and including the team name and all of the players in your team: Register your team here

  • If you don’t yet have a team, please still complete this form and write ‘Don’t have a team’ in the “Name of Team Registering” field and we will endeavour to put you into a team based on available numbers

Step 2: Play Football registration (note Play Football prefers Google Chrome)

  • Each player will need to register on the Football federation play football site: Here

  • Click on “Find a Product” on the left side of the web page

  • Search by organisation “Bellingen” – this will then show winter competitions on pages 1-2

  • Click on the “filter” button and filter on “Non Club Football Players”

  • Select the summer registration that’s applicable to you/your child

Registering in two teams?

If you are registering to play in a MIXED team in ADDITION to registering in a Men’s or Women’s team you do not need to complete a second Play Football registration. However, on submitting the Team Registration sheet, you will need to make a payment of $30 for every player that is already registered in a Men’s or Women’s team. Please make the payment to the following account, with your Mixed team name as reference.
